Default Swap Issues

I'm almost finished with my V6 to V8 swap. My problem is I put a 2004 V8 into a 2001 truck. I got the security light to go out by doing the passlock relearn. The truck will crank but will not start and I have no PRNDL display or any indicator lights except for the CEL. Does anyone know what my problem might be or of a RELEARN to get the instrument cluster to recognize the new PCM?

NOTE: I have already repinned the fuse block connector to reflect the change in years and I have the TAC Module and pedal installed and working.
I have fuel and spark, but the truck will not start.

Also when I was messing around with the PASSLOCK relearn and I went to start the vehicle, the PRNDL and indicator lights worked briefly.

Anyone have any bright ideas or am I just gonna have to get a tune from Nelson and have him take out the VATS, etc.

sounds like there may be a problem with the neutral safety switch on the linkage of the transmission. just an idea.

If you have fuel and spark there has to be another problem. Do you know the history of the motor? Did it run before you installed it?
