This reminds of going to the dealer in town that installs Prochargers. They use Ed W. When I was explaining about using edit, one of the guy's sons, says, "that's the program so and so blew his motor up with"(so it must not be any good) even though he was spraying into it.
If someone is not savvy on PCM tuning, they usually have no idea what the hell you are talking about. The service guys at my dealer kinda treat me like I don't know what the hell I am talking about, like I am trying to impress them. I just blow it off, but I can see where this would happen. Always WRITE everythign down and tape it to the steerign wheel, and also give a copy to the service advisor when giving your keys. This helps a little. Good luck with it man.
BTW no direspect to the dealer guy, just stating my experiences Sam

sorry to hear you had problems with your tuneing. Did you give him all the list of mods you did? just curious. He did my truck and my friends firebird both turned out great. I guess sometimes you win some and lose some.

This was the third time he did it. The first time he tuned it was about 2 yrs ago and it started then and he fixed it then ( i drove there). The second time i just got it upgraded and it did the same thing again but he fixed and this time it was sent by mail order and he told me it was my fault the pcm was bad and that he and I quote " What do you want me to do wave a magic wand to fix it?" Eh what can you do?
