Default suspensions

has anyone combined suspensions like use the hotchkis coils plus the djm control arms and the hotchkis leafs plus 2 inch hangers in the rear to get a total of 4/6 drop that handels well.

there is a guy over at fullsizechevys.com that uses the hotchkis kit along with djm control arms and shackles for a very nice handling 4/6 drop. i am using the hotchkis kit and a set of djm shackles to make it sit perfectly level at all 4 corners. redaddiction, from all the info i've heard the spindles are a big no-no on the silverados.

Yeah,454 is right I had a set of belltech spindles on mine and they sucked. They really cut down on your turning radius. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> I took mine back off after about a month and put it back stock with a shackle. Would like to try the hotchkis kit someday.

thanks, I think that I am going to start with the hotchkis and then go from there depending on the way it does.

P.S has anyone gotten a sway bar off of a suburban or H2 and tried to fit them on the trucks. i think it would be alot cheaper then the hotchkis

not sure on the sway bars but i will tell you that i love my hotchkis kit. it eliminated the wheel hop problem i was having and i love the way it rides. much better feel of the road than stock. you'll be very happy with it.
