If you are looking for something simple I would recommend a Predator. I currently have a hypertech, but the Predator can do everything a hypertech can do and more. Plus you can get custom tuning if needed.

superchimps is a very dangerous box. I didn't set my ebrake, which means the DRL's were on during the download into my truck. When I went to see if it was done Dling, it said call superchimps. It wouldn't start! I called them, and of course they blamed the whole thign on me not setting the ebrake. I took the batt cables off for a half hour, and it started. The problem was, the frickin superchimps tune was in my truck, and my stock tune was GONE. So I bought LS1Edit, because I wanted it anyway, instead of going to the dealer and having them mess with my truck. I now, after a while of learning, restored my stock spark advance tables, so I can run my Procharger.
All I can say is what a hassle. I have never had a prob like that with HPP. I can even load non stock settings into the HPP as my stock file and it still works ok. Superchimps will restore the tuner box back to new if I pay shipping both ways. They were extremely un helpful, and blamed me. Their products are complete CRAP. Get Edit Sam

The HPP is the easyest to use. Ive heard other stories of 'bad luck' with superchips mostly of the SES light coming on. The Predator is half way between LS1-Edit and the HPP
I have the HPP now and Im looking into geting LS1-Edit. Edit is limitless. Predator can grow with you. If you going to stick with basic bolt-ons go with the HPP.
If you plan on geting a supercharger later get none. Most supercharger come with some type of computer upgrade and will make most the programers useless.
