Try unhooking the negative battery cable to clear the PCM. Check your e-mail too,

I had a superchimps fail in the middle of programming, and the truck wouldn't start, and the superchimps tune was stuck in there, even after disconnecting the battery cable(it ran though)stayed that way till I got Edit, and fixed it. They will fix the box for me, but not pay any shipping. They also said I could send them my PCM for re-flash. Yea right
their damn box doesn't even work, can I trust them with my PCM????
I would say after seeing this same problem at least five or ten times on the forums, I would stay away from them.
Good luck. Sam

On two GM trucks, I have had pcm loss/failure caused by Hypertech PP3's. I now have two Superchip tuners (one regular, one for the Powerdyne) and have not had a problem with either. Do a search on the www.pickuptruck.com website for more info.

In the middle of programming my 2000 with Superchips it locked.I pulled my PCM out sent it to them, they reflashed it and I never had a problem since(until a friend of mine took out a Toyota with my truck). My 2002 has been fine.I think the problem with my 00' was my cell phone was plugged in They say make sure there is NO drain on the battery.

i ended up having to tow my truck to the nearest dealer.
they were going out of business and only charged me 32.50!
to reflash my computer! i was very happy! they didnt even charge me to put a code scanner on it to locate the prob. every where else was going to charge 50 buck just to look at it. then who knows how much to reflash!
too bad that dealer is shut down now.

my truck has been idling at like 300rpm for the past two weeks. took it into the dealership, they reset everything. then they said they couldnt locate the problem and it still does it . ohwell it was under warranty
You may(probably?) have a dirty or worn IAC(Idle Air Control) valve. It's easy to remove and soak/flush with brake or carb. cleaner and reinstall. If it's worn, the replacement is in order.
