Default Supercharger Timing

Yea I was just wondering what kind of changes do you have to make to the timing when you install a SC? Like a Intercooled Vortech or Procharger setup. How much if any do you have to retard the timing?

With a procharger setup, the pcm automatically takes out timing because of engine load and intake air temp. You end up around 11 degrees with stock tuning. I have tuned mine to around 17-18 degrees at WOT right now.

Me and another guy on here with a Vortech are both currently running 14* of timing. He has the aftercooler and I do not. Ive recently added a progressive meth kit so I need to retune after I put a smaller pulley on. Im planning on upping my timing to at least 18*. Ive heard of some running as much as 24*. Its all about your setup and how good of a tune you can get.
