I thought the Lightning blower was an M90 and the RADIX was a M112. They appear the same size, but I thought they had different specs.

The Lightning uses a M112 with a top mounted inlet port and a pressed on pulley. The Radix uses a M112 with improved intake porting and a keyed pulley. The combination of an upgraded supercharger and better breathing heads make the Radix LS1 combination stronger than the Ford at lower boost levels.

Those are good pictures on the side. The article, or the initial page anyways, isn't very informative though.

Being the Rotors on the Radix are twisted I wonder how much difference there is between the rotor profile?

It be nice to see some pictures to compare them and some profile maps on the lobes.. Anyone know anything?????
The Radix uses an Eaton based blower, 112MP I think.? Any way the blower housing is based on the traditional roots brothers design but instead of flat rotor lobes they are twisted and has three lobes as opposed to the original roots type with two, Its called a ‘twisted helictical rotor’ and it really brings up the thermal efficiency of the blower.

So basically, from what I've read, the Kenne Bell is the more effecient, and basically the better Supercharger. Their customer service may not be the best, but the supercharger is better. A piston upgrade may be needed for optimum performance, but that goes for most Supercharger's right? And how about the intercooled twin-screw idea? Is there such thing as an intercooled twin-screw supercharger???

Bang for the buck, the Radix is the way to go IMO. Piston upgrade? Why? I am running 10 psi on a 68k motor daily driven! If you want OEM reliability and easy installation where there are no questions, and EVERYTHING is there then the MagnaCharger Radix should be your only choice.

That would be an optimal setup but to my knowledge, there is not such system in retail production. Although there have been some custom made. There is one on this board with a custom intercooled Whipple.

btw.. my $.02.. from all my research, I will be going with a radix once I save the change for my sc purchace.
