Also can I use my 2002 5.3 balancer and flywheel on the 6.0 engine? My truck has the 4l60e. And is there a stronger flywheel available? I bent my stock flywheel on a 4wheel launch

Yes on the balancer, and no the flywheel; you dont have one. If you mean the flexplate, then yes, it will swap over, assuming the 6.0 has aluminum heads and isnt one of the 99-00 6.0s with the iron heads.

There are stronger ones out there from tci and circled I can name off hand.

I've never heard that called a flexplate, I thought flexplate was in a clutch. But do you have a part number on the tci? Or do I just look one up for a 5.3?

Clutch mounts to the flywheel. Torque converter mounts to a flexplate. They are very different.

I know the difference in the two lol. But in many repair manuals it refers to it as the flywheel even in autos.

Gettings 550 is possible but I haven't seen anybody make that power with the older whipple's. But not many people are doing what you are to optimize the power of it either. I will post up picks later on my whipple and the intercooler setup I did. Also I went with dual walbro 255 intank pumps and five o Motorsports 60lbs injectors, and my cam is 215/227 .603/.613 116lsa
