you need to do some trans work as well if you want it to live

not having an intercooler is going to hurt, especially on the top end when temps skyrocket, the tires are also not going to help being oversized offroad tires

realist hp would be around 500-550hp to the ground

aeromotive 340 pump should be sufficient

450-500
might want to consider regear. at least 4.10s. I'm running 4.56s and love em.

What they said... your tranny won't last long. Do you already have the blower?

im not worried about the trans, ive got a really good transmission guy that builds stout transmissions for me for a little bit of nothing.
but since mine is a 4x4 i dont really want to change gears. the front diferential scares the poop out of me lol
i do already have the blower on my current 5.3. makes 10-11psi on it
i will be adding an intercooler later on but i just need to get the motor in and lined out befor i go into that.
does the areamotive pump go inline orr is it an intake pump? is it a direct swap or is there some fab work involved? maybe a write up i should look into?
i would be thrilled with 500rwhp tho. i would think that would throw me into the 12s somewhere

Its an intank pump, and I would install it that way. Would suck to have your stock one fail and the inline one give you just enough to run lean and melt a piston...

it will need some slight massaging but will generally be an easy installation
