Default Summit CAI?

Has anyone had any experience with the Summit CAI? I have been looking at Airaid intakes but they are the same price as the summit unit without the MIT pipe. The part # is SUM-239352

The Summit unit is very similar to the low cost filter/box setups you can purchase on Ebay for $50.

My main concern was to whether or not they are as effective with hp/tq gains as an Airraid, K&N, or other CAI piece.

If you fabricate of purchase the Airraid intermediate pipe/plenum it would be just as effective. I bought one of the filter & airbox kits off Ebay that looks just like the summit kit and then fabbed up some intake tubing and had it sent out for a 1/8" coating of Jet-Hot ceramic.... lucky we get so much **** batch coated by Jet-Hot I had it done for free through my job.
