Guy, I normally stay out of the truck section, but I will say that if you want to tune your vbehicle, instead of paying someone $350 dollars to tune the vehicle, that you spend that money on a copy of HPTuners and never have to look back. You can adjust not only your speed limiter, but any of the other parameters you'd like.

Want more timing?
Want more fuel?
Want to convert to Speed Density?

You can do anything with a package like that. Step up, and buy yourself a copy of a real tuning tool... You'll be a happier and smarter consumer.

That's cool, I would rather work on my own truck anyway.

What is the HP turner? Is it a hand held programer or is it software to adjust everything on a lap top or computer?

It's software to go onto the laptop. You hook your laptop up to the diag port in the truck and load your tune that way. You edit the tune yourself, no cookie cutter tune.

There is TONS of support here and on HPT's site.

My truck is an '04 and I have HP-Tuning on it. Runs like a dream, I really recommend you get the HP-Tuning on your vehicles. I have the 6300rpm Rev Limiter on it with the 1-2 shift point at 6150rpm, 2-3 at 6100rpm, 3-4 at 6000rpm. My top speed is 150mph. And Power enrichment of 1.148 on it, so the air-fuel ratio should be around 11.5 You'll need a bigger cam if you're planning on running or "abusing" your truck all the time, but it should be ok for daily driving...

I already plan I getting cams, what would be the best for my truck? And how does yours top out at 150? That's really fast.
