STS turbo plus fuel problem

Default STS turbo plus fuel problem

Installed sts turbo, 43lb injectors,Walbro intank pump and won't rev past 5000 rpm? sounds like rev limitor from 1-2 shift, then 4500 rpm from 2-3 shift sounds like rev limitor. Checked fuel pressure at idle 63lbs. wot drops to 49? any ideas please.

Sounds like your in tank pump was not installed properly. I would drop the tank and verify the pump and FPR are seated correctly.

I guess I should start there as the fuel line came off the first time around then we put two clamps on it?

Yeah it might be the place to start. Make sure everything is perfect. I know it is a pain in the a$$ but you need to make sure.

I had my mechanic do the fuel pump, could you tell me what to look for if I decide to take a look myself.
