Default STS Rear Mount?

Anybody have any experience with these? I'm considering on gettin one but idk how hard the install would be and if they are weather resistant. (snow, mud, etc.) I think the truck could handle 3-5 psi but anything over that would require more modification. Any suggestions?

I had a friend that ran one on a Camaro there pretty sweet the sound alone is worth the money imo..buy he didn't have any problems with his and there easy to install on a Camaro so I wouldn't think it would be a big deal on a truck, he runs 8 psi and saw pretty solid gains he's putting down 480rwhp stock internals

I dont have an sts but i do have a rear mount. There is a little more to.a rear mount but the sound cool, keep a sleeper look, and most of all dont make it any more difficult under the hood!

i am planning on going front mount soon just because i plan to make a little more power as im not just cruising around on 3-5 psi. but as far as good kit to play? yes rear mounts are fun!

this is off an 01 rcsb 5.3

This is good news for me then! I put a shift kit in and corvette servo but I figured anything over 5psi would require some major trans and rear end up grades to hold it. I wonder what type numbers it would put down considering what all has been done to the truck? Lol

Pm me too if he doesn't want it when you switch over. Very interested in it. I talked to STS today and they told me the kit without tubing, I have a shop in town that can bend pipe, would be 5100 shipped. Little too much for my taste

Hmmm..I wish we had a shop around here that could make and bend piping, I've got a low mount kit Im trying to get rid of..I wonder if that shop could make some pipes up that would need alittle modding when being hooked up..
