Any one with a STS turbo from Canada here?

Anyone in the Northern U.S states with a STS being used in snow,slush,freezzing/thawing conditions...?

Anyone running a STS in areas that use alot of salt on the roads in the winter?

I live in Eastern Canada..Nova Scotia....lots of salt in the winter (the roads, not me)

..believe it or not...peoples exhaust manifolds rust out here..

I though maybe alot of small parts...like the little oil pump might not hold up to good being situated underneath.
Are turbo housings really thick?
