Default STS Turbo

Have any of you with the turbo ever tried using a programer such as the Predator or Autotap to tune your trucks after the install?

Talk to Chris99gmc, he is slammed with an STS kit. I believe he has posted some pretty good pics of his setup.
Nelson is the name thrown around the most, and I think he is recommended by STS for tuning. Like stated, tuning is REQUIRED, not optional.
The base turbo kit is probably good to 450 rwhp, and is really good for quicker spool. These big azz heavy trucks like the faster spool. F8L Z71 and others have upgraded to the 0.67 A/R ( stock is 0.60 A/R ) and are running sick times. OR you can copy Parish8 on his underhood setup and get into HotRod magazine!

No doubt, Nelson is the only way to go.

Or any shop that runs LS1 Edit or the like can do more of a custom tune while you're sitting on the dyno or logging on the street. And by "logging" I don't mean........

What are the specs on the turbo used in the base kit for STS and at what rpms does it begin and reach full boost on a stock 5.3?
