For those with an STS kit. Describe the sound your kit makes when you let off tha gas after wot.

Yup, the flutter..

It's pretty loud and perfect for letting people know why they got beat when you lift while passing them.

Ok. Here is my concern. I dont want my truck to sound like a 50 honda civic with a coffee can straped to it. Do your trucks still sound like a v8?????? I am not going to run a muffler with my setup if that makes any diffrence.

It has a soft rummble at idle and sounds very mean and pissed off at WOT.

LOL!!!!!!!!!

No, they still sound pretty much just like they did before the turbo (as far as exhaust sound). The turbo acts as a muffler too. But you hear the whine of the turbo when you're on the gas and the "flud flud flud" when you let off after it's been hammered.

It only makes the sound when you back off hard under boost. Otherwise it sounds cool as hell.
