Question STS guys!!?

I see that the intake is underneath the truck. How is it when driving in wet conditions? This seems sorta like a costly error to me for a 4K kit!!
thanks
Clint

Did you see they come with a snorkel kit on all new truck kits? If you plan on driving in an extremely dirty environment the STS is the wrong toy. If you drive mostly highway and performance than STS is the cheaper ticket.....

you cant beat it for hiway and track use but if you drive in any off road conditions often then go with a filter relocator or some other choice of fi...i know from experience...

You dont want to run it during a NE winter. I think you would be better off it a non power additive truck during a NE winter.

Cold air is what any engine wants and a turbo gives the engine street manners and idles well... Why not in the winter??????????? Sure you don't want to punch it on snow but you don't do that with any truck do you????

on the camaro kit i helped put on it comes with a cover for the filter. Brads dad also did one on a 99-00 GMC 1500 and the turbo set up a lot higher. I dont think rain would be a problem at all. Now if you go swimming in your truck then yea SOL.
