Hey Guys, if anyone is in doubt it's me! I've never seen the 700 mark on my dyno software and when I did, I was in shock. I ran the truck many times just to make sure. It was on pump gas.
I kind of didn't want to post my numbers, because I knew they would be challenged. The only thing I can think of is taking it to another dyno, but I can't see paying someone to dyno my truck, lol.
I called superflow yesterday to find out if there were any problems with the dyno reading that much power, I'm waiting for any answer. The superflow also reads lower than a dynojun, i mean dynojet, it reads a lot closer to a mustang dyno. The superflow is known for it's accurate and consistant readings, but I guess anything is possible. I'll run it again, a few more times, to make sure it's still reading those numbers. I stopped tuning it because the numbers seemed ridiculous, it started out at 603hp with a 9:1 a/f ratio, i leaned it out and it just kept increasing. It's running about 10.5:1 af and if I lean it out more, it's going to be that much harder to believe.
If the truck runs a 10 this friday, we know it's for real. I think the trans is going to take a **** though, I don't care though, I'm getting ready to swap it anyway. It is hanging in longer than I thought.
No N20 was used, I watched my gauge as well, it was right +-10psi.
I can say when it's on the dyno and it starts to really spool up, I wasn't sure if it was downshifting or not, that's how violent it was, it shoots up like a damn rocket and scars the hell out of you, hahah, it's not a comfortable feeling. After it peaks, it settles down and that's what you're seeing in the graph.
Unless the 5psi was lower than I thought, that would explain some of the power increase.
I don't blame anyone for questioning it, but the truck feels great on the road. I've been in a few camaros with some nice power and it feels just like'em, when it gets traction. The *** end is all over the road, I can basically burn out as long as I want, with no braking

I'll keep you posted.
btw, I was out all day in houston tuning some race engines, I'm sure I missed a bunch of calls, I will call everyone of you back.

later,

OK, I will be the first.

There is no way a Ghetto... Hamburger helper... water sucking... street cleaner could ever do this!!!

I mean there would be soooo much lag.... and.. and.. and.. with all that heat loss... and it will never have quicker than 2.0 60' times....
and.. and.. and.. never pass 500... I mean 600... no I really mean 700hp.

Sorry Allen,
I figured I'd beat the haters to it... there always has to be at least one negative post in a STS thread. Hopefully this will be the token one.

I hope you blow the paint off your truck tonight.
Good luck and AWESOME numbers, try to get a video if you can.

The track numbers will tell. With that HP/weight....we are looking at a 9.90 truck.
