I have a blow-off valve (TiAL) in the engine bay, but when you hammer it and let off, the turbo makes a "woop-oooop-ooop" sound (like Curly/Mo). That always gets peoples attention!

Yep, it is kinda a neat sound. It is the pressure inside the intake tube feeding back on the compressor and slowing/stopping it from turning for a second or two. At high boost it can damage the turbo but overall causes it to slow down some. Bad if you are in traffic and go on-off-on, it will cause some lag and spool delays.
If you have the blowoff valve just adjust it to open a little sooner. Kinda tough tho if you are running a two stage controller.

Well turns out there is a little arrow on the regulator for the boost controller, and if you hook it up wrong, you'r boost will spike and will have a higher overall boost presure.

Now if I could get my Air/Fuel ratio under control.

How would you adjust the Blow off valve to open sooner?

You guys, I don't know if anyone has chimed in on the blow-off valve sound but the STS base kit comes with a wasegate only and it does make the woop-woop-woop sound when you back out of thr throttle under boost. However the wastegate is different than a blow-off valve. Just thought I'd throw this in to the disscussion.

Ya I though I was saving time When I just "T"ed into my boost gauge and Alkycontrol M.A.P hoses. If that makes any cents, anyway the M.A.P's (and Blow off valve) only had 1/8 hose being supplied to them, I was told that the blow of needs at least 3/8 hose, so I got to hook the blow off valve to the brake booster supply hose to fix the problem.
