strange noise

Default strange noise

i noticed my engine making a very loud tapping noise yeterday when i started

it goes away after it warms up, did the same thing today,then went away when warmed up.noise comes from both sides of engine. any ideas?

check oil
my firebird did the same, i drove it like i stole it, never had a problem. could be a loose tail light bulb, or not.

how many miles on it? probably lifter tick.

90k on my 99 and it lifter ticks like a mother on startup....

51k miles on it. any way to get it to go back to normal

yea, just leave it alone. Good ole GM piston Slap. Nearly all Gen III motors do it.
