Anyone have a sound clip with a cat but no muffler? I am going to try it on my 5.3 powered TB and i want to know what i am lookin at, i think it will be ok with a cat and a chrome tip, but i could be wrong.

 

If anything, get a tune and remove the cat(s) and put a race muffler on it if you want it that loud. Manifolds and cats with no mufflers sounds like crap in my opinion. Gl

 

I have shortys, stock y-pipe & mid pipe, but no muffler or over the axle pipes. It sounds good and is not any louder than my corsa exhaust. It is almost silent at idle and might even be a little quieter through the powerband. It definately sounds better than the crappy sounding flow masters on a mustang. As soon as I find a nice stainless muffler I will get a new ORY made and just run the muffler with turndowns.

zach, i will try it and change it if i am not happy but i didnt think it would sound like ****? I will use a 1 chamber if i dont like the sound.
