Default stock 02 silverado ready for mods

I own a 02 SCSB 5.3 and I want to start making more power. I've already thought about cam, shift kit,e-fans,exhaust/headers,stall converter, and basic nitrous kits. heres what I came up with

Cam- Thunder Racing- 220/220 .551/.551 112
Shift Kit- Trans Go- Sk 4l60e
Stall Converter- Hughes Performance-Street Master Torque 2500 stall
E-fans-2002 Camaro-Junk Yard/Ebay
Nitrous- NOS dry
Headers- Dynatech- Supermaxx
exhaust- dynomax- Ultra Flo Welded

any opinions would be great. I've looked into an 02 Nelson tuned PCM and received good things about it working with what I am trying to do.

Sounds like you got a good set up lined out. The only thing I can suggest is that on the shift kit get the HD2 instead of the SK. I have heard that is the way to go. I'm gonna that way myself, after some other things are taken care of. Maybe a higher stall?

Havent really heard much on the Hughes stalls for the newer trucks. Although the stall size looks good. The SK shift kit is "ok" on a completely stock vehicle. Your much better off with the HD2. If you want to be positively sure you are getting the right stuff for your shift kit, contact Vince at FLT. He can make sure you get everything you need. The gains on a ported throttle body is debatable. You may want to put your efforts some place else. Everything else looks cool. Should be plenty strong.

i have heard great things about the 3000 range stalls, with mild mods, i would assume 3000 would be the way to go! its on my to-do list soon.

you might get a 2500 and kick urself in the *** later, check into that! im sure if u contacted the company for the stall u plan to get, they can chime in with some good info from experience.

I agree, I'd think with that cam in a 5.3 you'd have a nicely matched combo with a 3K stall. Sounds like you have some nice plans!!

I talked to my brother about this last night. He said I should go with a 3k stall insted of my original 2.5k. I ordered a CAI and new MAF today so those will be in soon.

thanks
