thinking about getting the diablo still, has anyone still had really bad or good experiences with them lately? The westers with the core charge for an 03 is VERY expensive from what I have heard, any recommendations? should I go with the westers even though it would cost a lot more? I want MAX hp and NO FRIED PCMS (not even 1!!!!!!!!)

 

If you don't want to the Diablo and Westers is expensive, just with a used HPP3 for now. That is what I did. Maybe later I will consider Westers or the Diablo wen a new revised verson comes out that does not cuase more problems than performance gains.

I like my Pred, Have had 3 custom tunes that really work good! Can't dog the Westers but my Pred BLOWS The HPPIII away. Talked to the R&D dept. they are very helpful and got me what I needed. For the money you can't go wrong.
Also they have joined forces with Autologic and have some new stuff coming out.(Diablo Sports)
Mine pulls very hard, no track times yet due to work load at the plant.

 

if you dont want a diablo, and you dont want a westers cuz of price, and your sick of the HPP3... then go get a Bryan Herter PCM. the king of LT1 programming... he's doing LS1 engines now... once i get the cash i'm going with him. and its only $250.

 

I really like my Predator, never had one hiccup with it. I've loaded, reloaded and changed settings a crap load of times already with it without any problems whats so ever.

im just gunna hold on to the hpp3 for a lil bit longer and see if diablo fixes a few things. i really like the scan tool it offers.
does anyone know if westers does tuning for cams??

 

Man,Lynodon who ownes westers garage can do anything you ask him to do.I went with westers and if I had to pay 600.00 dollars fot it I would.It crazy what this PCM does.My dad has an 02 ext.cab Z71 with the 5.3.His mods so far are a HPP III,borla exhaust,K&N fipk and throttlebody spacer.When I told about my westers he took it for a ride and now we are sellin his HPP III so he can get a westers PCM.My truck which is a 97 was his for 4 years and he gave it to me,so he know how it used to run when he had it.When he drove it the other day he wants more on his new 02.He wants the westers,and hedders.
