Default stealing my wifes L9H out of her Denali for my race car! what replacement? Help!

I really want a 6.2 for my for my race car to replace the iron 5.3 currently it for obvious reasons. I cant find a decent price on one and wife doesn't need all that power in her truck so I going to nab hers and replace it with a 5.3 or 6.0. Im looking for some help on what version/year of 5.3/6.0 would make the easiest/cheapest swap. ready go

before you suggest I put the current 5.3 from my car in the truck, it is a built up motor that wouldn't be a fit for her or the truck.

truck is a 09 yukon denali

thanks

Before I suggest anything, what does the wife think of this idea?

As long as it has the 58x reluctor on the crank (all 07+ engines) it should work fine.

Ly5,ly6,l76,l92 are some of the motors that came with the 58x wheel. There are others also.

Also keep in mind you will need tuning at a minimum.

I can't imagine you're going to save any money by tearing apart the Denali. It's certainly a hell of a lot more work than just selling your 5.3 (which you'll do either way) and buying or building the 6.2 that you want. And what value will the denali have once you've removed the 6.2 and installed a presumably junkyard 5.3?

My 04 has the same mileage and the motor has tons of life left and runs fantastic. So I really dont know what the issue is with that one. Seems like more work then its worth but whatever.
