Default Starting to mod my truck

Alright guys.. i have a 99 ECSB Chevrolet Silverado.. I am going to start with the obvious mods such as intake exhaust computer tuning etc.. My question is.. at what point would i need a new torque converter. I really like the Yank TT 3000 but everyone i talk to around here says that if i dont have a lot of HP that my truck will ride like crap.. Any help will be appreciated!

Don't forget mids/longtube headers. I think the best mods I did to my 99' is headers and my cam. The stock 99' cam sucks!

I am planning on going AS&M LT's.. 99SilveradoSS, the cam that you have is it a mild cam.. I dont want anything that hurts my street drivability.. I do a lot of interstate driving.. i want my truck to be fast but i dont want it to ride like crap around town or on the interstate...

I would do the Yank 3000, Z06 cam, headers, and a small shot of juice. If you don't like juice do some head work. The yank is a pretty tight converter, so you won't notice much of a difference around town.

You might want to consider a SuperCharger!

I agree, the supercharger is the best for power without loss of driveabilty. Expensive though.

A Supercharger is definetely in the plans.. so you guys think that a yank tt 3000 would be ok even if it was my first mod?
