Where in Cali are you? I need to come on down and talk to you. I wonder if I should go with a larger motor, and then supercharge it, over just going over a turbo with Combination motorsport. I just like the idea of a 6.0 for all its torque and what not, would just make these trucks come alive, for a standard cab short bed. Oh yeah, by the way, I don't hate you, just really really jelious!

We are in Chatsworth CA. Both options, Turbo / or supercharged 6.0 are great ideas! Let us know if you want to come out.

That looks awesome.

I've got a question for the 6.0 swap guys. How is the stock 4L60E holding up with the 6.0? I've got a friend looking to do a 6.0 with a cam, LTs and maybe a small amount of headwork and possibly a converter in his 03 Z71 and still run his stock transmission. I would expect that setup to be awful hard on it.

Sweet. I've got a little stripper truck that would love to have a motor like that in it.

Umm yeah... those have NO timing up top so they trannies don't get hurt as much. That BS TqMgt I firmly believe causes many problems by dumping line pressure as RPMs increase...just the OPPOSITE of what you want.

Jorday... I don't think it'd crap out real quick if it was beefed up w/ the TransGo and the Fairbanks billets. Those help A LOT. He will then have the motor the Z71s should COME with stock. I forsee a rebuild imminent if he drives crazy.
