Default Stand Alone Wire Harness for 4.3L

Does anybody have any idea how to make one of those simple engine wiring harnesses that you only need to hook up 5 wires (I believe it's called a stand alone wire harness)? I was looking at putting my old 4.3L from my swap in my boat and wanted to continue using the fuel injection and all that good stuff. I'd rather not pay a huge amount of money if it's something I could make myself. I appreciate the help. Thanks. Tim

if you still have the stock harness off your truck you can send it to currentperformance.com and they can make it a stand alone they do real good work

I do still have the stock engine harness, but I thought that part would stay the same. I was thinking it was the other side of pcm that would need to change. When you do a stand alone, the computer stays, right? If I knew what pins on the incoming side would need to be used and where they would have to go, I thought I could do that myself without sending it to someone. Not too sure myself, I could be all wrong tho.

I think how that works is the harness comes with a small fuse block, hooked into computer, ignition and battery. Then from the computer, you run it to just a couple of five sensors.

I believe current performance wants 375 to alter my stock harness and nelson performance wants 450. I was hoping to do this swap on the cheap, real cheap. I can't believe there isn't a do it yourself wire diagram or something like that. If I have one of these guys do it, I'll already be over budget. Only thing my boat doesn't already have is a obdII thing and the ses light. Does anybody have the pin assignment diagram for a 2000 4.3L and am I going to be able to find the connector that goes from the computer to the ses light, obdII thing, ignition, etc? Thanks for any input you can give. Tim
