Default Stainless header and wraps

I know this is the Chevy section, but not much goin on in the Dodge area. I am working on my magnum v10 swap into a half ton and have a new set of borla stainless headers that i stole off ebay for $100. I want to get them coated, but swaintech is just a little too pricey for me. Do you think there will be any problems with using header wrap on them being that they are stainless? I know the wraps kill plain old steel headers fairly fast, but i thought the stainless might not have this problem. Any ideas or thoughts? Bein in Sw Fla I really want to keep the underhood heat down as much as I can.

Why would you want to get a stainless header coated??? If they are decent stainless, you will be fine wrapping them..

To keep the heat in the header and out of the engine compartment. Swain tech coating is more effective at holdin the heat in the header, not just for looks which is pretty much all jet hot is good for. check it out, blows jet hot away as far as thermal efficiency goes.
