OK, found the mods. Which cam did you go with?
Changed the cam in my LQ9 this week. See my updated signature. SOTP guage says it should be 1.5-2.0 tenths quicker. Have not retuned yet. I was supprised how much harder this cam pulls to 6000 yet it sounds absolutely stock and idles perfect. I can't hardly wait for a stock "L" kill with my "stock" setup. Without headers or air tube mine looks just like it came from the factory.

Believe me, I've been thinking about heads. I really like the looks of that comp 212/218 .55x 115 cam. At times I wish I had gone with it. Mine isn't too different but its on a 114. It took a little more tuning. I would have wanted the 115 lsa for the stock idle, smooth power band, and good nitrous performance.
I'd race a SRT or L if given the chance. I totally killed a new SCSB Hemi on the freeway last week.
Sneaky mods: I'm still running the stock muffler, so it sounds and looks pretty stock.

BigTex....did a little HP vs ET calculation vs weight. Your 13.82 pass is a little quick for your weight on motor alone (even with the mods you have). Do I smell a little N2O?

Did you take the converter into account? That's the equivalent to about 30-50rwhp.
Oh and did you notice the NS for tires = Non Stock
Sorry Richard, I know you can take up for yourself but, the little rolleyes guy gets to me.

Hey...I'm not picking on Richard or trying to start a flame thread. The eyes are wondering eyes. Just curious where the extra 100 horses is coming from so I can apply it to mine. Also on the Fast Truck thread the 60' time is shown as 2.01 and 2.17 here on this one. My best 60' at 1200 lbs. lighter with a 3000 verter is 2.09. Sure sounds like a 100 shot there somewhere.

I do have nitrous, but it was off on this run. I ran high 12s with it on, at 107 mph, but It was coming on and off throughout the run. Only cut a 1.89 60' that time, which sucks. I think my WOT switch is screwing me up with this fly by wire TB. My other NA run shows the same mph, but the ET was a little higher.
Sorry you cant squeeze the extra HP out of your LQ9, mine runs pretty good.
