You should talk to your local dealer about that belt squeal since you're still under warranty, sounds to be fairly common and they might just slap a new belt and/or tensioner on there for ya. If not, and old trick that I've used to help slipping belts is valve lapping compound. The grit in the compound helps the belt to get better traction on the pullies.

Default Any Pulley Changes?

I did not note any pulley changes in your sigs but I'll add 2 cents here in case.

On my 03 I went to an aftermarket 200 amp alternator. It did not perform well at lower RPM's. They sent me a smaller pulley and it made noise when I had to let off the gas abruptly durring a high RPM jaunt. I got the alt warrented and went to the normal pulley and it went away. Sold the truck Since. It had 3.73 gears.

I now have the 05 with a Radix, 3.42 gears and never get a squeel. Before or after the Radix.

As for the 3.42 gear comments, I agree, but, when I bought my 05 the 3.73 gears option was deleted. I was not as disapointed as I thought I would be but when the Radix went on I no longer consider it an issue at all. I don't compete at the track either.

I hear you about the exhaust I just installed a 3" cutout on the my cc (see sig) and it is very clean sound (sometimes I think is sounds better than my Borla?)and you can barely hear a drone inside, I still have the cats though,, I had to put a cutout cause it is the wifes daily driver and she dont like exhaust noise so I just uncap it when I go out in it... my cc also has 3.42's I dont think they are too bad though?? on the CAI I just modded the stock airbox and you can definately here it sucking some air, I will be getting a tune from Wait4me in the next week or so I post up some results...

I also have the 3.42's and down low from a dig it is O.K. but on the highway they really shine. From a 60 mph roll it pulls hard to 90, after this winter I'm going for a Nelson tune and ditching the superchips, I'm also looking at a Yank 2600 and servos to help out the 3.42's down low for next spring.

When I first purchased my truck it had the same belt squeal. I took it to the servive department. They said this is normal with the LQ9 engines.
I guess they find a few that have a problem and........call it normal.
Oh well, it only does it at WOT 1-2 shift and like you said before, sometimes 2-3 shift. I know it is because the accessory drives are so suddenly slowed by the shift changes.

mines just a 5.3 and does it......never told the dealer about the belt squeel yet
why did they do front rotors and rear drums on the 05s? seems like the last 5-6 years theyve been doing 4wheel discs
been in dealer 2 times
-tires wore real funny---factory alighnment out -6000 miles
-rear end hopped under braking---front rotors warped(cut them and reinstalled although i wish they gave me new ones)-6000 miles
-clunky/clicky 2-3 3-2 shift at lower speeds and less than say 30% throttle.....only shift that does it----they threw a new program in the ecu for the tranny -6000miles...still does this **** today

9000miles
-took it back in for the 3-2 2-3 thing they told me nothing abnormal about that shift, hell i pull in a neighborhood or parking lot and it slowly hits third and its like it unloads off the drivetrain and loads again rather than blending on the upshift and making the rear unload then load thus the rear end clunk
and on the downshift say in my neighborhood its more of a direct click from right under my butt, i can do it over and over, next time i go in im telling them bout the 1-2 squeel and taking the service tech for a ride and showing him this 2-3 3-2 shift bullshit
