Default Which springs 918 or ls6

Just picked up a comp 206/212 515/522 and need to get a set of springs for it. Which would be better the 918 or ls6. I figure for the lift it has and I am using stock rockers the ls6 should be just fine for me. Where is the cheapest place to get a set of ls6's at.

You should be fine with the LS6 springs...I have that same cam, except on a 114 LSA, and I'm using Comp 916's, as per a Comp Cams rep's recommendation.

I'd try the classified section (Parts for Sale, not truck classifieds) and see if you can find a set of LS6 springs. I bought a cam and springs a year ago for around $100.

Yep, LS6 will be fine IMHO too. In fact, either the 01 ( .525/blue ) or 02+ ( .550/green ) will work, I would go with the 02+ in case you upgrade cams later.

is the .525, and the .550 the lift that they are good to. because my buddy just bought the green ones off e-bay and he has a .525/.532 lift on the cam and he also has 1.85 rockers that he is putting on.

ladiesman. if the cam you are refferring to is the old one i use to have with those rockers then 915 minmum will be needed. with the 525-532 and the 1.85 rockers the lift will be more than 550 lift and will cause float at a higher rpm.
