Default Spintech?

2002 5.3 4x4 Z71. Have Brute Force Cold Air. I am wanting to add some exhaust, I want throaty yet fairly quiet. I heard the Spintech Sportsman XL has a good strong quiet tone yet they are also bomb proof. Comments or suggestions? Dont want Flowmasters!

Spintech is a good muffler but I recommend running magnaflow mufflers. Low interior noise and they sound damn good when you open them up.

Default Ive heard spintech..

theyre way too raspy for me. I have a 3 inch hooker max flow way cheaper than magnaflow and sounds awesome. No drone at cruisin rpms...2500 or so. Turned down over axle.

derek

For what it's worth, I like my Magnaflow also. I have the 'long' one so it is relatively quiet until WOT. However, based mostly on what I've read, I suspect that you'd be pleased with the Spintech also. I've heard nothing but good things about them. Good luck!
