Default spindles or springs?

What's the best way to drop the front 2"? I saw a kit in summit that comes with spindles instead of springs.

are you looking for the crew cab listed in your sig? i've always thought the crews were torsion bar front suspension.

Drop spindles is the right way to do it. Mcgaughy's is the best kit.

Keys drop it by pushing everything up. Spindles just move the wheel up so the suspension geometry stays virtually identical to stock.

Spindles do not change your factory suspension travel. They will offer the most "stock like" ride.

Coil springs are the cheap route they are stiffer and the ride usually sucks with them.

Your truck will either have a torsion bar setup or a coil spring setup. You can't do both. If you are unsure, look behind your front wheels and see if there a coil spring. If not look to see if there are bars running from under the cab to the control arm.

Hands down I would do spindles. I've been through 3 sets of coil springs, 2 sets of control arms and one set of spindles. I'm currently running spindles and springs and the ride was much better than control arms and springs.

I chose the A-arms because it alowed me to use the stock 16" rims. Spindles would have caused the rim to contact the ball joint.

Beltech 2/4 Drop with Spindles, shackles, and hangers. Also opted for the gas shocks. I believe there 's a kit they offer.
