Find a set of used of 3.73's that someone swapped for 4.10's. Get the Lingetfelter gt2-3 with LS6 springs. You will also need a transgo shift kit and replace your muffler with something that flows better, ie: magnaflow or hooker.

Used 3.73's - approxamitely $200
Transgo Shift kit - $80-100
Lingenfelter gt2-3 - $400
High flow muffler with installation - $150-200
Actually being able to spin the tires - priceless

Get some Pacestter LTs, 4.10 gears and eaton posi and ship them to 78541....j/k

Seriously, start from the bottom, or beginning. (bolt-ons first) Get a nice flowing Intake (K&N, UPD, AEM), a good flowing exhaust muffler (Magnaflow, Borla, Hooker), a good mail order tune (Nelson), and UD pulley (ASP).

Intake: $240
Muff: $130
Tune: $400
Pulley: $230
_____________
TOTAL: $1000

You might find some of these cheaper....

Once you get more money, get yourself some Pacesetter LTs w/ the ORY.

LTs w/ the ORY: $500

IMO, think this is the best route to go for the first round of mods... Post a new thread on what else to get after installing these mods. The list never ends once your hooked on PT.net.

Hope this helps.

Hey Out1aw, If you go to the F-Body race in Reynolds next weekend there will be a tuner there tuning trucks. He can get you a good tune at a really good price. I'm going to be there getting mine done.

Mine came stock with e-fans.... I assume that all the 06's have them...
But I got every fancy button there is
One thing I like is being able to turn off the traction control in the ice/snow

Just give the dealership hell!!

I got a 5th 18" wheel and tire, painted my bowtie, in-channel visor's, a billet grill and I could not tell you how many tanks of free gas...maybe 6 or more.. All because of the little plastic lug (looks like chrome) on the wheel was cracked and I wanted it fixed.

I'd do the 2" drop, Intake and a cat-back... Thats all that I am planning on doing until the waranty runs out. Maybe a computer tune, but I would like to have the stock one to put back in...just in case
