TR6's have shown a notable (5-8 rwhp) loss when used in an incorrect application. The plug you use should not be colder/hotter than needed to survive the combustion chamber environment. Any less may be safer but at the sacrifice of power. Any more and you burn up parts.

I still use NGK TR55's which work OK at best but really are not that well suited to heavy nitrous use. The TR6's will show more misfires espcially when not on the nitrous...I really like the 55's over the 6's but they will not withstand .067 (150 HP) jetting or higher that well.

Thanks Oxidizer for your reply.
I thought I was loosing a little bit with the tighter gap between .35 and .4
I am using I believe it's a .62 jetting on NOS
Can the TR55 hold up to that size jetting?
What should I set the gap of the plugs at with this jetting?
Thanks again Oxidizer and the rest of you guys!

I am running the tr55 @ .53 and I spray occaionaly with a .052 jet with no problems so far. I dont spray that often and my truck is my primary vehicle so I didn't want to sacrifice my n/a power for the every now and then I spray it. But I also dont want to tear anything up when I spray it either.

I think the .052 jet dry is around a 100 shot maybe a tad more. Can someone confirm this, Ox?

that is correct, a .052 jet is 100shot. assuming wet and dry take the same nitrous jets for a certain shot (just adds in extra fuel at different locations)
