I hate to ask such a noob question. Wondering what you guys have done in the situation. Changed all 7 plugs no problem. Well one doesn't want to come out. I just left it for a few weeks. But now I want to change it. It won't go all the way back in, and won't come out. It is free for a few threads in the middle. When i start to pull it out, it gets very very tight, didn't want to risk breaking it off in there, or pulling the threads, but looks like i might have to. I "know" what i need to do probably, but want to see what others who may have been down this road, have done.

Any tips or tricks? Probably going to have to helicoil it?

 

Spray some penetrating oil on it and screw it out too it gets tight, go 1/16-1/8 turn out and just keep working in back and forth going a little farther out each time.. Good luck

 

Would it help to do this w the engine warm?

I vote penetrating oil and slowly working it in/out as well. Not a ton of options here.
