Default Spare being a BITCH

Alright im trying to take my spare tire out, but when i turn the lowering rod nothing happens I made sure that i was turning it the right way and its still not dropping the tire. And i cranked it forever too. Any suggestions??

Had the same Prob once ....i had the Wroung end of the Rod in the Hole.......

Good i dont feel so bad them......When i finlly got it down i want to Beat my own *** with that rod.....

its the end of the rod that has the little notch on it right?

I think if you look at the pic on the jack Bag it shows ya...thats how i Found out.......

I had that same problem but it was the pulley underneath was bad.. I had to cut the wire holding the spare in so I could get back on the road. it was still under waranty and the dealership fixed it after I through a few words around.

I had the same problem but the pulley was bad. I cut the wire to drop the tire. It was a pain but the dealership fixed it since it was under warranty.
