At idle you can't tell it's there. Once you push the gas though, all doubt is removed.
I can hear Blownchevy from way down the street. It's loud.

At idle you here nothing. Part throttle you here a little whine. WOT it screams. I had no idea how loud they were outside the truck until I had it dynoed. An F-body and a Vette pulled before my truck. I thought they were pretty loud. One out of three put their fingers in there ears, including me. When it was my turn, everyone put there fingers in their ears. On the next three pulls several guys stepped outside until the pull was over. They are loud at WOT, but it is a very addicting sound.

No sounds of it at idle. At WOT it will absolutely scream! I can hear intake noise over my exhaust, ever since I gutted the cats it isn't as bad, but I still hear the intake over the exhaust.

I was running at the track with the exhaust pulled apart at the Y pipe and someone thought they heard a blower. He said he figured that was my 'intake swap'.

I would imagine with a smaller pulley it will be louder.

Flyer, when are you going to put in a smaller pulley? Allen sent me a 2.9" for another 2 lbs of boost. I'm surprised at the noticable difference with the smaller pulley, especially the mid to low end where the eaton was lagging before. I get a light boost pitch (whine) just off idle and light throttle, sounds like the MP112 is spooling up enough at low rpms that you can hear the internal bypass valve working. It's a new sound I couldn't hear with the standard pulley. WOT and the lady screams. Def. get a smaller pulley, it's cheap ponies and easy install.

got another question...i know with each 1/8" smaller pulley you get like 1 lb of boost. but how much HP do you gain with each lb of boost?

Approx. 15-18 hp. this differs from vehicle to vehicle. But your tourque will go through the roof!

Boosted ... I'm more worried about getting my truck back on the road again right now. Today makes 3 weeks it's been down for trany problems, I got a new one instead of fixing mine, got it in and I was doing good to make it home frmo the road test, so back at square one.

Once all that gets worked out ... I will have a few things to do.
