i have a baby 5.3 with stock 6.0 heads and boost.
oh, and as for fuel, forget about the c-16. go to your nearest VP dealer and get yourself a drum of MR1

With the small cam, I dont doubt it builds boost faster. But it should also run out of breath in the upper rpms before a bigger cam would. Getting that 4.8 to make big power is going to need all the help it can get.
You still going to put that same cam in the 408? Stock heads on the 408 for now?

its a 97 RCSB S10 truck. tube a-arms and coilovers in front, 4 link and coilovers in the back, running stock 7.5 rear with 3.23 posi and brakes from an f-body. ZQ8 sway bars on both ends also. ABS delele, battery in the back, manual rack, AC delete, and replace with vintage air under dash system (saves 30 lbs and cleans the firewall up)
the motor is just going to be a 5.3 with all the studs and stock 6.0 heads for now. probably a cam from MTI since they are nearby. im going to use 6.0 manifolds flipped around, with a single turbo on the passenger side, probably something smallish like a GT35 based turbo. after this thread though, i might just use a 4.8 instead heh.
