He is just mad cause pound for pound that 8100 is pretty damn useless if you ask me. Also it consumes nearly as much oil as fuel. Way to go overwieght two stroke. I don't see it going 10's either.

wow, so many ugly posts flying around all over the place.

everytime i step on the gas i am pushing many parts way past what they were designed to do. failure is inevitable. who knows, it may be spectacular(rod thru the hood). it could go out with a wimper, maybe a cloud of white smoke out the exhaust.

i will stop short of blowing it up if i get into knock or get past the 6.0's numbers or even if it just stops making more power with higher boost.

To accuse someone of jealousy is childish and is a cop-out.
Here is a guy that has a 408 motor on its way to him, and last time I checked, a 408 wasnt cheap. For someone to even entertain the idea of offering people a chance to send them money I think is wrong. If losing an entire engine was a concern for him, then I think he wouldnt have even been willing to put it on the line. Just from reading this entire post, it seems as though people who have any rational thought are bashed on by the pro-parish brigade because they actually think for themselves.

For those of you complaining about Parish asking for money how about you let those that want to donate do so ? It is their money do spend as they please. I know some of you dont think it is right for him to ask this but I will bet 5 bucks if you want to test the limits of your motor and have the skills to properly do so others will be glad to donate to help you blow it up.

The way i see it is ,the few bucks dont really make the difference of what parish was going to do or not do.The info he provides here is priceless,he knows more and done more with turbos/No2 than these high dollar performance shops and has been willing to share his knowledge for free, thats rare.I respect his mechanical ability, this is coming from a life time of teching.I know if i ever did a turbo I could go to his for answers,so giving a few bucks makes it easier if I ever called on him for answers,I believe he would be willing to share whether I gave $10 or $50 or $0
enough of the nose',but I see him as a pinoneer. If you were not a do it yourselfer and you took yours t a high tech shop and let them learn on your truck on your dime and wouldnt get the same results.Seems Parish always gets results before he blows stuff up.How many on this forum build stuff and spend good money and have nothing but problems or get shitty results? Not many.

Very well put Gonzo. I'm glad you got that in before the lock.

If anyone has a problem with Jim TALK TO ONE OF THE ADMINS about it.

The End.
