I am getting A Transgo+vette servo and cooler installed by a shop and one shop which is absiccly a tranny repair place quoted me like $420 and another place which is more of a performance/repair place(transmissioncenter.net) that actually sells those parts quoted me $260 and that includes new filter and the works. Is that soemthing to be worried about or is it because one is more of a performance place than the other? Jag Performance said if I was to use them they would charge me like $225 so that made me feel a little better!

 

i would gop to JAG Performance and let joe do it. he is very good with trannies.

Dude, If you're close to the transmission center then I would let them do it if you want to pay for someone to do it for ya. Hell, If it was me I would do it myself(and I did Except for Transgo). I put in the billets, intermediate and overdrive, no sweat even called and had them explain how to do it. Ask for Doug thats who I talk to each time I call. Just tell him what you got and what you want to do to it. He will even call you back if you call and he's busy. Very nice guy and seems to want to answer your ?'s ...Zed

 

im four hours away from allen and i think it is well worth the trip every time or jag.
