Default someone with a 2002 5.3 .....

Would someone with an '02 5.3 truck please give me the GM part number off of the intake manifold.

Someone give me a part number. On my '99, I removed the vortec cover and found it on the top of the intake. I assume it is in the same spot.

Isn't it true that the 5.3 '02s do not have EGR? I assume the 2002 6.0L engine still have EGR.

Let me know. Thanks
Richard

Greg, can you get your brother-in-law to get me that number?

I am not for sure, but I think that the 6.0s will still have EGR for emissions purposes.

I think the intake is the same, the EGR was plugged off the last couple of 02 5.3's I seen that had come through the shop. It was a metal plug that fit where the EGR tube normally would go into the intake.

I have looked at Tony's 02 also and his is just like a block off plate on the intake.

Thanks. I was wondering if were a completely new part, and that could account for the stronger numbers. Similar to the differences in the LS6 over the LS1 intakes.
