Default Some More Burned-Danged E-Fan Questions

Last nite I looked around for some previous threads but couldn't find any.
I have a 2000 Suburban and my DD '01 Silverado, both w/ the 5.3 engine.
I'm interested in the swap to e-fans, but I don't know some of the facts.
So here are my questions;

1) I notice you guys seem to mention radiator size. Where is the measurement taken?

2) I'd like to use some fans off either LT1 or LS1 vehicles, but I don't know which to get. Would it be better to get a set of GM fans for a late model truck?

3) Who is currently making a good harness for this conversion, and who sets up my ECM for using the fans?

4) Am I missing anything?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Nelson makes the harness and can turn on the fans. The pcm will only beable to control one relay. If you look at the rad support, there are four holes for the radiator to bolt too. if your rad. is using the outer most holes it is a 34" if it is using the inner holes it is a 28".
If you have a 34" I'd get 05 silverado fans.......
Cheap plug for myself, but I have a 34" rad for sell.

The ls1 fans are pretty much the same as lt1. Derek at edo made my harness for me and it works perfect, anyone who does tuning with hpt or efilive can do it for you. I am pretty sure you have the 28 rad in both, you measure just the core, not the side tanks.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the help. I'll contact Nelson.
Are the fans the same whether off a Vette or F-body?
