Default solenoid mounting

I would like to mount them on the fuel rail bolts on the pass.side - but I dont know if they'll get too hot there. I have read that excessive heat can cause seal/magnet damage - but since the intake manifold is not metal.......would they be ok there? Where does everyone else mount them?

And as far as the nozzle goes........is it too sharp of a turn in front of the throttle body to place the nozzle halfway down the tube? Does it have to be mounted right in front of the throttle body ?

I mounted my fuel soleniod on the passenger side fuel rail and the N20 on the driver's side fuel rail. I placed my fogger nozzle on the K&N tube right before the throttle body, right beside the alternator. This will be the third place I have mounted it. I have also placed it further down the tube (before the bend) and behind the throttle blade in the throttle body. I could tell no difference on the mounting positions. I hope this helps.
