i have a rcsb, and think the cam can use more stall... its great on the street, though

Do you have any track times with your current setup?
Best run was a 14.68 @ 93.6 mph in full street weight. I don't have any good runs in with the TBSS intake yet. I went once after I put it on, but found I was having problems with the TB. I would like to be able to improve my 60' times some. About the best I've been able to get is 2.1, but for my daily driver that may need to pull a trailer at any time I don't really want a bigger stall.

I'm sure a RCSB will benefit greatly from a higher speed stall since it weighs less.

thanks for the feedback, i planned on running a 3600 but might do a 3400, thats not a bad time being u have a a smaller stall and 3.73s. there was another guy on here with a 2wd and ran like a 12.8, i kno he had 4.10s and a fuddle 3000, but i figured the stall flashed higher than 3000, he had some weight reduction though

You should really look into a 6 liter given the fact that you want to stick with a smallish stall. You'd be better off with a stock cam 6.0 then that tr224 5.3

yea i just sold my ls1 i had because i would go through trannies quicker than i go through tires,lol. i was given the cam and i dont want a 6.0 now, i dont have a problem rollin with the 5.3 til i graduate, they got plenty of fast 5.3s and i wouldn't mind telling ppl they lost to a 5.3,lol. thanks for the thought

Get a deep pan for the trans while you're under there. I found a used TCI on Ebay for $115 shipped.

Just make sure that you have enough clearance with your y-pipe, I've been wanting a B&M deep trans pan, but I don't believe that it will clear my StainlessWorks y-pipe as the clearance is close now as it is.

i disagree, a stock cam 6.0 isn't going to outrun a cammed 5.3. there's so much more tuning capabilities when you have a cam.
