Why don't you tell your story instead of just saying, Screw that S.O.B.
I haven't had any problems with him. The way I look at it is that there is somebody out there that has had bad dealings with EVERY sponsor on this board. I've been lucky so far and it seems my luck is continuing. Sorry to hear about your bad luck.

You know whats funny though. 10 years ago.. I was only 8.. Think about that... Now Hyde my car is also a full weight everyday driven Convertible Mustang Cobra. Yes thats right roughly 3900-4000lbs easily.. Thats not bad at all...
I didnt mean it in any harmful way but I was simply stating the fact that ur doing it is just weird in my terms, but hey I dont have unlimited funds to do what I want. I have enough money into my car... Id love to see this truck run so since you said there is no way I make 500rwhp lets run the truck vs my car. If I dont have 500rwhp and you have 550rwhp that should be fair. Just joking. That wouldnt honestly be fair but I would love to see that truck run if u keep the motor together. Im sure there will be plenty of races out there that you wouldnt have a problem with.
And dont you ever tell me that just because someone had something doesnt mean they know crap.. Since I have a 500+rwhp Cobra and then I get a LS1 then I automatically know about everything. Im not hinting in anyway that hyde doesnt know his **** Im just saying that just because u owned something 10 years ago doesnt mean you know everything about new stuff.. Its just like saying yeah I knew EVERYTHING about computers in 1992 so I must know everything now about computers in 2002.
BTW hyde what side of town are u from?

"real" motor?
I don't plan on a 422 cash cow ( XLR8TNSS has this combo in the works) but i'm building a strong 373 (6.0L block rebuild,) with my VHS S2+ heads, 11.5:1, and a reasonably large cam for the added displacement (230/235 595/595 114.)I'm hoping for a solid 400 RWHP NA and additional 180-200 through the directport which has been paitiently awaiting its new home.
I'll be posting some progress pics soon...
In the mean time I've been tuning on the current setup and was able to get a reliable 409/495 HP on the dry nitrous an this was even with the addition of the 4:10s and the locker. I didn't realize that the 4:10s would be as parasitic as they were. I have also found what happens to be the "static" limit of the OE injectors. 140 RWHP seems top be where the injector PW and duty cycle are maxed.

Listen.....A motor is an AIR PUMP. The more air and fuel you pump in, the quicker you get it out, the more power you make. Simple. The technology has been around since the old steam locomotives to our modern day thrust jet engines. It is not complicated, as long as you understand the general paramters and guidelines that are associated with the internal combustion engine. You did not offend me by any stretch. I have been involved with racing in some form or fashion, since you were three! Be it 4-wheelers, Powerboats, racebikes, street/race cars etc. Somewhere along the way, someone pioneered the 4.6 32 valve cobra motor, and accordingly you followed the example to make your "500+" hp. Like I said earlier, "beam me up scotty"
