I see alot of guys messing with small bolt-ons to get 5-15 rwhp and such, but not many are really getting over 300 rwhp NA yet. So, who has plans on throwing down some cash to put in a 422ci setup in their truck?
I think that would seriously kick-***!
Me? I'm gonna skip the little bolt-ons and just save up for a supercharger. Better performance, major horsepower increase, low maintenance, and increased towing capacity. Perfect for what I use my truck for.

Tony...I'm in the process of finding exactly what is most feasible for the money...I believe you were at the dyno day, screw those little bolt ons...I agree with you completely. Making 430 at the wheels with a stock 5.3, I believe that is pushing the envelope. But we will see what i can come up with...lol I want to make well over 550 at the wheels at the next Dyno day...

I believe XLR8NSS is currently shopping for late model truck to drop a 422 into. Should be a nice sleeper. <img border="0" alt="[boring]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_zzz.gif" />
There's also a couple rumors that there are a few big cube ARE motored trucks running around. It has been said that at least one of them is running a blower in addition to the big motor.

I've been looking at a local used Powerdyne kit I can get for $1200 with a newly rebuilt head unit.
I think supercharging with moderate boost is the way to go.

Sounds like a deal Brad, but you have to buy my '02 Z06 for testing purposes in return <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

Well, I'm planning on a 422 in a RCSB stepside. The motor is still about 2 months away. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> There's a thread around here somewhere with the specs. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
I'm very close to buying a truck that is currently in North Carolina. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
I've heard about at least one ARE big cube truck that is simply bad ***. <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" /> I don't think the owner post on the internet because I've never seen anything about it. I think it had a little spray on top of the cubes. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
