Default so i'm a retard

i dropped a torx head piece down in between the head & the intake manifold...it dropped into the little runners...now i'm rigging up a little magnet device to try and get it out...but let's say for ***** sake that i, god forbidding, don't get it out...will it go into the intake manifold or is there something preventing anything from getting in there...it dropped right where there's like little valleys on the intake side of the cylinder head...can get a pic if needed

so i'm a retard-dsci0919.jpg

so i'm a retard-dsci0920.jpg

in the valleys that you see there

If you can't get it out it will sit there and wait patiently for you to pull the intake manifold sometime in the future. I found an 8mm socket down there that I had lost about a year earlier one time. It was like Christmas in July

LOL, think about it man, if there was a chance it could get sucked into the engine, you'd have much much bigger issues.

Like I said, if there's a hole in the intake big enough to suck a bolt inside of it, then the truck would already be running like ****.

Another example to think about.....let's say that the intake wasn't air tight and you went mudding. You'd be replacing a new motor every time water got underneath the hood.

it must that time of year. I had a ten mm bolt fall into the spark plug hole. I didn't believe it actually happened until we started the car. Needless to say the bolt did fall perfectly thru the hole... One crank and the piston was split OOPS...

lol OOPS is not a good word when you don't have the funding to fix the OOPS
