I have TOG's on my 5.3. They are smog legal with a CARB number. I haven't had to have it smogged yet, but it shouldn't be a problem. I got the titanium ceramic coated ones. A very nice header, 1/2 flanges. Fit was tight and you have to cut the pipe very close to front of the cats. Make sure you spevify whether you have AIR or EGR.

By the way, what part of SF are you from? Glad to see people around me on the board.

you have three choices...

TOG's: CARB Exempt

Shorties i.e. Edlebrock, JBA etc.: CARB Exempt

Long tubes i.e. Dynatech, AZSM: Not CARB exempt....but the will give you the most power.
