Smog Issues with Tune
#1
I emailed Justin at BlackBear, but just wanted to get a faster response if anyone knew. I was running LPP longtubes and now took them off to put stock headers back on in order to sell. Tune had EGR and AIR tuned out on it so I wasn't sure if they would even show up when I go to smog it? Smogging in cali, so not sure if its that much different than elsewhere. My bud has a scangauge and was told I could check to see which ones are failing through the I/M? Any input is greatly appreciated.

Not sure what exactly your question is...
But passing a smog check in the great liberal state of CA is harder than anywhere else...that is why they have c.a.r.b (California air resource board) you either need to have everything as it came from the factory or carb exempt , or know someone....

Basically the AIR and EGR are tuned out of the pcm. When smogging and they plug into my ODII port, they read the AIR and EGR and other items as well. I can only fail one to fully pass the system and then the sniffer of course. I may have someone to pass it, but not sure how they would do it being its plugged into the OBDII which goes off my VIN right?
